The morning's program celebrates chapters and individuals who contribute to the AS Food Bank and Alumni Scholarship Fund and will culminate in the announcement of the Greek Giving Challenge winners.

Key Note Speaker Christoper Lincoln '84

As a producer and director, Christopher Lincoln has earned a reputation for delivering both exciting and informative programming in a variety of sports and entertainment.

Over the past thirty-two years Lincoln has been a part of ten Olympic games having worked for the host broadcaster and with three US rights holders, (NBC, CBS, ABC).

Most recently Chris has supported NBC in the 2016 Olympic Games, producing the Sailing coverage from Rio. His company Flying Fish Productions focuses in live event production.

Over the course of his career, Lincoln served as a Vice President for Fox Sports, Senior Director at ESPN and helped launch Golf Channel in 1995 as the channels Coordinating Director.

A winner of five national Emmy awards, Lincoln currently resides in Santa Barbara, California. He serves on the board of the Dream Foundation, a national charitable foundation based in Santa Barbara, CA. He has three young adult children: Kristen, a 2013 graduate of UCSB and two currently in college, Alexandra at UCLA and Robert at Cornell.


Flying Fish Productions, Inc. is a producer of award-winning “Olympic” television programming for broadcast and cable networks. The company has created and produced sports and entertainment programming since 1999. Specializing in multi-camera live events and studio based productions, Flying Fish can handle any and all production services from pre-production straight through to the finished product.

Partnering with leading vendors and an array of experienced personnel, Flying Fish enables clients to work closely with our company to produce their event in both a creative and cost-effective manner. A fun event for kids ages 2-16 and their families. Come and enjoy an interactive morning of games, performances and demonstrations by some of UCSB's on campus clubs and departments. Try rock climbing with Adventure Programs, taste some liquid nitrogen ice cream made by chemical engineering, enjoy light and hula hoop shows by Ambience, play with lego robots made by LEGO RoboRats, and much more!

Gaucho Gallop 5K Benefit Race

Ready, Set, Gallop!

Come out for the 10th Annual Gaucho Gallop at the 2017 All Gaucho Reunion. Proceeds from the race will go towards the UC Santa Barbara Alumni Scholarship Fund. The race's route features iconic landmarks on the UC Santa Barbara campus, from the Thunderdome, the University Center, Storke Tower, Davidson Library and ending at Harder Stadium.

FOR ALL AGES, ALL ABILITIES

This race is for all ages and fitness levels. The SBAA Grand Prix's flat and fast course accommodates both competitive and first-time 5k participants.

FOR OUR FUTURE GAUCHOS

Our younger runners can work off all their pent-up energy at the Kid's 1 Mile - a great way to introduce future Gauchos to our beautiful campus.

FINISHERS RECEPTION: EVERYONE WINS

All participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt and are invited to our Finishers Reception Area for free food (Country Catering will be providing breakfast burritos!), coffee (Caribbean Coffee Craft Draft), and prizes.

PACKET PICK-UP

Participants will be able to pick up their bibs, t-shirts, and goodie bags on Friday, April 28th 2017 at the Mosher Alumni House on campus from 12pm - 6pm. We will also have a small window for packet pick-ups on race day at Harder Stadium if you are unable to make it.

8:20 am – Gaucho Gallop Opening Ceremonies

8:30 am – 5K Run/Walk Start (max 1hr and 30mins)

Alumni Softball Tournament

The time has finally come to slip on your softball gloves, lace up your cleats, and step into the batter’s box! You are cordially invited to participate in this year’s 35th Annual UCSB Student- Alumni One-Pitch Softball Tournament. This year’s tournament will take place on Saturday, April 29th, 2017 (during All Gaucho Alumni Weekend) on Storke Field, right across from Harder Stadium. This one-day tournament will tip off at 9am Saturday morning and a champion will be crowned by 2pm. The registration fee will be $200 per alumni team and FREE for student teams, which will include t-shirts and light breakfast refreshments at the field. Your registration forms are available to down load. Registration forms are due no later than Tuesday, April 25th, 2017.
